Microsoft has announced that new Halo Infinite campaign footage will be published on Monday, October 25, as part of a special video broadcast. The broadcast takes place less than two months before the release of Halo Infinite on December 8. While 343 has showed out a lot of Halo Infinite's multiplayer and even had many betas, the firm hasn't shown off much of the narrative in a while.
All of that is due to change tomorrow, October 25. 343's video presentation is set to begin at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET, and you can watch it live via the YouTube video embedded below.
To far, the sole official campaign gameplay video for Halo Infinite was revealed in July 2020, and it disappointed many fans. Microsoft has revealed what looks to be a new plot summary for Halo Infinite, which mentions The Banished, the danger that Master Chief faces. It also claims that Halo Infinite's campaign will be the "largest, most wide open, most adventure-filled" yet.
"The Banished have beaten UNSC soldiers and gained possession of the mysterious Zeta Halo, endangering humanity's survival," 343 warned. "When all hope is gone and humanity's existence is at stake, the Master Chief returns to fight the most merciless opponent he's ever faced. Here's a first look at the Halo Infinite campaign, which will give players to genuine Spartan freedom in the largest, most open, and adventure-filled Halo experience ever when it launches on December 8, 2021."
At Gamescom in August, Halo Infinite's campaign was a no-show, and 343 head Joseph Staten recognised fans' disappointment and explained why the decision was taken.
According to Staten, the development team is currently in "shutdown mode," which implies that work on the game's primary features for launch has been completed, and the company is now focusing on resolving the highest priority issues. This is a large task that requires a significant amount of time and money, and developing a new campaign demo or trailer to showcase the campaign would have delayed things down.
The storey and multiplayer modes in Halo Infinite are unique, stand-alone products. The multiplayer is free to play, but the campaign is not. Both titles are also available on Xbox Game Pass.

Halo Infinite will be released on December 8 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S after a significant delay.
